NVMA commemorates World Tuberculosis Day!
To end Tuberculosis, it must be eliminated from animals (Zoonotic TB).
Each year, World Tuberculosis (TB) Day is commemorated on March 24 to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of TB, and to step up efforts to end the TB epidemic.
With the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, it is evident that Animal Disease neglect is detrimental to human health, food security/safety and the economy.
We therefore call on all and sundry to join in the fight against TB and other zoonotic diseases which are ravaging both human and animal populations.
